12 months to destroy 80 years of History. And for what? 4,000 extra seats. At an estimated cost of £20M. Now obviously there are more corporate packages that can be sold but approx 4,000 extra seats at a cost of £5,000 each.
That means to repay the cost of the stand, those 4,000 seats need to be sold out (at approx £25 a ticket) 200 times. That's TEN FULL seasons of sell-outs before they pay for themselves.
Much better to have a new stand than a new player or 3 I guess.
The corporates must be raking in a huge amount otherwise this is one big folly.
