I saw the bit where HDE was on Sky.
He was walking in front of the North Stand saying that a piece of history was going. He said the tunnel will be closer to the half-way line and then rambled on about the great players who had used the old tunnel - even tried to sound emotional. He ended the VERY short interview by saying that it upset him to see the demolition works and said to close (this is about verbatim) "In fact it upsets me so much I'm not going to look at it anymore". And 'cut'.
What a load of artificial horse-shit!
