Two things struck me about today's visit to Villa Park (pics tonight)
1) Seats have started to go in.
And more significantly,
2) Something strange has happened to the design. The corner of the new stand has changed where it meets the Holte End.
Disappointingly, it looks like there will be a massive gap, but that remains to be seen, but, and no one would confirm this....
It looks like they're going to place the mosaic they saved there. I could of course be wrong, but it appears something "special" is now planned for that wall, where I'm relaibly informed by Ian Robathan is going to be "super-executive" boxes.
It's looking a bit of a shambles and as he succinctly put it "It's just another prime example of a lack of planning and forward thinking that 3 stands built within 7 years of each other do not join in any co-herent way !!!
