24/5/00:Popped down this morning before it all disappeared.
Didn't see Ian, who'll be contributing to this site either direct or via his "DougOut" site. He was due to be there to do an interview with Radio WM. I'm sure he'll post here the latest developments that he picked up yesterday.
I was just in time to see them start hacking at the claret & blue balcony.
25/5/00: Popped down again today. Decided to keep yesterday's photos, that were posted last night, here until I post today's photos tonight. Workmen expect the whole stand to be raised to the ground by Tuesday. Now they've started I'll be glad when it's all done. It looks like they're going to keep the North End mosaic for the new stand.
